Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A last year running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Last month it was updated to MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM which was based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) only but the company started rolling out Android 8.1 (Oreo) based MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM towards the end of last month. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6A, successor of last year’s Redmi 5A in India back in September starting at Rs. 5999. However, at the launch the company said that the pricing is complimentary and it will increase in a couple of months. It also increased the price of 16GB version by Rs. 600 and Rs. 500 for the 32GB version last month. Now the company has cut the price of the phone back at launch prices of Rs. 5999 and Rs. 6999. ASUS launched launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in April and its flagship Zenfone 5Z (ZS620KL) smartphone back in July in India running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0. Last month already confirmed that the 5Z will get the update by the end of January 2019. Today at the Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 launch event, the company confirmed that the Max Pro M2 will get the Pie update in January, and the Max Pro M1 will get the update in February. Yandex, the leading Internet company in Russia has introduced Yandex.Phone, the company’s latest Android smartphone. It has a 5.65-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by Snapragon 630 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Yandex Launcher, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel secondary camera for portait shots, and a 5-megapixel camera on the front that also has an LED flash.
Update: We have managed to get the download link for the Mi A1 Android Pie beta update which is about 1.3GB in size. Since this is still in beta stage, there might be bugs. It is recommended to backup before updating. We have flashed it successfully with TWRP Recovery.

HMD Global just announced the Nokia 8.1, Android One smartphone, which is the global version of the Nokia X7 mid-range smartphone that was introduced in China back in October. The successor of the most popular Nokia 7 Plus has a 6.18-inch Full HD+ 18.7:9 aspect ratio Puredisplay, DCI-P3 wide color gamut and HDR10 video playback, 86.5% screen to body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform and runs Android 9.0 (Pie).
As promised recently, Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update in India. This brings several new features single swipe notification dismiss, Headset icon in status bar, Smart Bar for faster multitasking, Game Space, Recorder, and lots more.
Xiaomi announced the list of phones eligible for Oreo and Pie updates last month and said that devices are supposed to get Android Pie/Oreo update before the end of this year. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is amongst best-selling devices launched this year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat despite launching in February and later in June rolled out Android Oreo update. Xiaomi launched the second-generation Android One devices – Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite back in July at an event in Spain.
