Infinix has expanded its mid-range portfolio in India today with the launch of the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G, as it had announced. The device brings distinctive hardware elements—most notably an interactive rear lighting display and an IP68 durability rating.
Design and Build
The smartphone measures 7.99 mm in thickness and includes an official IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, an uncommon inclusion at this price tier. It features what the brand calls an Active Matrix Cube (AMC) on the rear panel, designed to render ambient lighting animations and notifications for incoming calls, messages, countdowns, charging status, and gaming.
Display
Up front is a 6.76-inch Full HD+ LCD screen (2,344 × 1,080 pixels) supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 910 nits peak high brightness mode (HBM).
Performance & Hardware
Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor paired with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU and UFS 2.2 storage. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a microSD slot for storage expansion.
Cameras
The rear camera module houses a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor (f/1.8) supporting 2x in-sensor lossless zoom, backed by AI photo editing tools and a one-tap Vlog Mode. An 8MP camera sits in the centered punch-hole for selfies.
Battery & Charging
It packs a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging.
Software
The Hot 70 Pro 5G ships with XOS 16 based on Android 16. Infinix has committed to providing three major Android OS updates alongside five years of security patches.

Pricing and availability
The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G comes in Silk Glow Purple, Dive Blue, Thermo Orange, and Mirage Green colors and is priced at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB version and the 8GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 27,999.
The phone will be available from Flipkart and Infinix India online store starting from September 7th.
