Get Android 9.0 Pie on Redmi Note 5 Pro with OxygenOS 9.0 port

Xiaomi’s MIUI is amongst the most popular Android skins with more than 300 million worldwide users. MIUI is a heavy skin on top of Android skin that offers various customizations but brings a good amount of bloat as well. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst the best selling devices launched in 2018 but it runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based MIUI 10 as of now. As per an official announcement, Redmi Note 5 Pro is expected to get Android 9.0 (Pie) in Q1 2019 but the public beta testing for the MIUI Global ROM hasn’t started yet.

Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4X PRO 55 First Impressions

It’s almost an year since Xiaomi launched its first set of Mi TVs in India and one can say they’ve had a good run, if not great. While there was only one 4K Mi TV at launch, the rest of 2018 saw Mi TVs hitting different price points with full HD and HD ready panels starting at a really low price of Rs. 14,999. OnePlus 5 and 5T OxygenOS 9.0 Android 9.0 (Pie) update starts rolling out

OnePlus has released OxygenOS 9.0.0 Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update for its 5 and 5T smartphones, after it rolled out beta update couple of weeks back. This comes after the OnePlus 6 got the stable Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.0 update back in September. The update brings new navigation gestures for the 5T, Google Lens integration in camera, Gaming mode 3.0 and more features.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 Android 8.1 Oreo Stable update with Dual 4G VoLTE starts rolling out [Download Link]

Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 9.0 Pie stable update starts rolling out, brings Dual 4G VoLTE, FM Radio and more [Download Link]

Update – December 25,2018: Xiaomi has started rolling out Mi A1 Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update for more users widely, including users in India. It has build number PKQ1.180917.001.V10.0.3.0.PDHMIFK, compared to v10.0.2.0 that rolled out earlier this month and is 1069.1MB in size, slightly smaller than the 1074.9MB. It brings December Android security patch. If you haven’t received the update, you can download it from here (or here) and flash it manually. If you have already reveived or flashed v10.0.2.0 update, you will receive a small update to 10.0.3.0 probably to fix bugs.
