Vodafone launches VoLTE services in Haryana

After Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa and Rajasthan, Vodafone has launched its VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) services in Haryana in India. It is currently available in Panipat, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Rohtak, and will gradually roll out across other cities in the state. It also says that the pack is worth Rs. 301, which is old rate for the pack. The 10GB data is valid for 28 days, so the 10GB data will expire by the end of March. Vodafone launches VoLTE services in Maharashtra and Goa, Rajasthan

Vodafone launched VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) services in India last month starting from Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Gujarat. Now it has launched VoLTE in Maharashtra and Goa, and Jaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, which will soon expand in other cities of the state soon. Vodafone is calling it Super VoLTE and said that the technology delivers high-quality sound over voice calls across the Vodafone SuperNet 4G network so that users will experience ultra-clear voice quality and reduced background noise. Idea starts rolling out VoLTE services, available for its employees initially

Idea Cellular has announced that it has started rolling out VoLTE services in some of its circles – Maharashtra & Goa, Kerala, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana initially for its employees in the first phase. Commercial roll out will begin soon circle-by-circle. The company had promised to roll out VoLTE services by the end of 2017. Aircel files for bankruptcy; cites intense competition, unsustainable debt and increased losses

Aircel has filed for bankruptcy protection under Section 10 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Mumbai, after mounting losses and Malaysia’s Maxis Communications who has 74% stake in the company decided not to infuse more funds. Aircel said that agreement could not be reached with respect to restructuring of its debt and funding after discussions with the financial lenders and shareholders.

It also said that it has rolled out 5300+ sites at 14 sites per day to expand and strengthen its network, catering to the growing demand for data and voice of its over 20+ million customers across the circle, since January 2017.
