T-Mobile second half roadmap leaked !

Folks over at AndroidSPIN got their hands on the unofficial T-Mobile roadmap, which shows a lot of new device making their way to T-Mobile. Well, not to much details on it because the picture is blurry. We can clearly see that T-Mobile is planning to launch 5 new Android devices, 2 from Motorola , 2 from HTC, and one from LG.

Nokia C3 available in UK on Prepaid for 80 pounds

The Nokia C3 might turn out to be a hit for Nokia. After seeing queues for the launch in Indonesia the handset is now making its way to UK. Vodafone has listed the C3 available for sale on Prepaid also called Pay As You Go. The price of the handset is just 80 pounds ors Rs.5400 approx which is sweet deal considering that UK is a tad expensive for any phone !

Blackberry 8530 Curve now in India on Tata Indicom at Rs.18990

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 has been launched by RIM and Tata Indicom in India and it’s the first CDMA phone in India with an optical Track pad and built in Wi-Fi.  The BlackBerry Curve 8530 is a CDMA version of the hugely popular 8520 Curve which was available on Airtel previously.  The 8530 offers high speed internet access, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, trackpad and dedicated media keys. Reliance Communications pays 8585 crores towards 3G Spectrum

Reliance Communications was fortunate to win 3G spectrum in 13 circles including Mumbai and Delhi. To buy the 3G spectrum, the payment of Rs 8585.04 crores towards 3G Spectrum Fee was made to the Department of Telecommunications. Reliance is the first company to make such a payment and other Operators such as Airtel and Aircel are expected to follow soon.

The Department of Telecom (DoT)  just posted the list of winners for the 3G Auctions in various circles. Airtel , Aircel ,Reliance, Idea, Tata , STel won atleast 1 circle. Videocon and Etisalat did not win even one circle ! Once the formalities are over we should expect commercial services to be offered by the winners starting from September 2010
