After several leaks, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A50 (SM-A505), the company’s latest A series smartphone for this year. It is also the first mid-range smartphone from Samsung to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, is powered by the latest Exynos 7 Series 9610 10nm processor with 6GB of RAM and runs Android Pie. Qualcomm QCA6390 connectivity chipset with 1.8Gbps WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 announced

Qualcomm Technologies has announced the Qualcomm QCA6390 Connectivity SoC at the MWC 2019. It is aimed at providing superior Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance for mobile and computing devices. It is also the world’s first 14nm integrated SoC to support the full feature suites of both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Sony Xperia L3 with 5.7-inch HD+ display, Helio P22, dual-rear cameras announced

Sony at the MWC 2019 event apart from Xperia 1 flagship and Xperia 10 line-up, has also introduced the Xperia L3 smartphone. The phone packs a 5.7-inches HD+ display and has the dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors. Unlike the Xperia 1, and Xperia 10, the L3 packs a traditional 18:9 aspect ratio display.

SanDisk Extreme 1TB UHS-I microSD card announced

Lasrt year Western Digital Corporation introduced SanDisk Extreme 400GB microSDXC world’s fastest UHS-I microSD card offering 160MB/s  read speed. Today at the MWC, it has introduced 1TB version of it along with the 512GB variant. This is also the highest capacity microSD cards in the world. Another company, Micron also introduced c200 1TB microSD card today, but it delivers only up to 100MB per second read speed even though its write speed is 95 MB/s. It is powered by  Snapdragon 855 with Snapdragon X50 5G Modem and has a new Vapor Chamber heat-dissipation system that efficiently keeps the internal temperatures low. It has a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED screen, has triple rear cameras with 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom. LG has announced its flagship G8 ThinQ smartphone at its MWC event as it had promised. It has a 6.1-inch FullVision OLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie, has triple rear cameras, 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom. It has 3D ToF front camera that measures the distance between the subject and the camera in millimeters to control the intensity of the background blur up to 256 levels for selfies with more depth. It also offers enhanced security with Hand ID and Face Unlock

Nokia 1 Plus Android Pie (Go Edition) smartphone with 5.45-inch display, 4G VoLTE announced

HMD Global has announced Nokia 1 Plus, the company’s latest Android Go Edition phone and the successor of  Nokia 1 that was introduced last year at the MWC. It has a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ IPS, compared to 4.5-inch FWVGA screen in the predecessor, is powered by MediaTek MT6739 SoC with 1GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) Go Edition. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
