Intel demonstrated the “Next Unit of Computing”, or simply called NUC back in 2012 with Sandy Bridge processor. It updated the NUC with Broadwell-U, Intel’s 14 nanometer 5th generation processor at the CES 2015 earlier this year. The NUC is a mini PC in a small square box. It has a processor with graphics, wireless connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth and all the necessary ports to connect a monitor and other peripherals. You just have to insert RAM, 2.5″ or M2.SSD manually, install OS of your choice to start using it. Here we have the unboxing of Intel NUC – NUC5i5RYH with a Intel Core i5 processor.

Xiaomi made it’s first major product announcement in India on April 23rd for the Mi 4i which has been developed for over 18 months mainly for India and other nearby markets. The launch saw Hugo Barra, VP Xiaomi Global , unveil the Mi 4i in a market where the company has been operational for barely 9 months.While the company tends to call it a flagship, the Mi 4i is more like a feature rich mid-range smartphone priced extremely well. Apple unveiled the Apple Watch, the company’s first wearable back in September last year. It went on Pre-order from April 10 in 9 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US. It started shipping for customers recently. It starts at $349 for the base variant Apple Watch Sport. We managed to get one from Hong Kong. The Apple Watch is proving to be a resounding success from a sales perspective. It is believed that initial pre orders have already exceeded the number of Android Wear watches sold every year and all this is while most buyers haven’t even got their hands on the smart-watch yet. Xiaomi Mi 4 Review

Xiaomi, the Chinese manufacturer entered the Indian market with its Mi 3 smartphone and the smartphone turned out to be a huge success in the country. The unbelievable price tag it carried helped the device sell like hot cakes.

Xiaomi Mi Note: First Impressions

The Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro were announced, a month back, in China. These two devices occupy Xiaomi’s phablet range, a category that was kickstarted at the lower end with the Redmi Note. Samsung used this suffix to denote the inclusion of a stylus, but for Xiaomi, it means only one thing, a larger screened version of a similar device. The Mi Note is positioned as the larger screened variant of the current flagship device, Mi 4. With similar hardware and design, it certainly is a phablet variant of the flagship, but could it possibly be more than just that? We unboxed the device to find out.

Samsung and Apple have had their fair share of flagship battles over the years. iPhone or Galaxy S? That’s the standard question people asked, for buying a flagship. But this year has been slightly different. In the Note’s third iteration, it was clear that Samsung had not one but two flagship devices. Similarly, Apple now has two flagship devices, the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus. Conveniently, the iPhone 6 Plus and the Note 4 are direct competitors, with similarly sized screens and ambitions. They compete on a lot of things with many commonalities, but some experiences are decidedly better on one, when compared with the other. Evolution of the Samsung Galaxy Note

The Galaxy Note series from Samsung is well known for being the one that started the big screen movement. People used to be dismissive of the concept in 2011 when the original released, but since then, all the flagships have gradually increased screen sizes, with the latest iPhone sporting a 5.5 inch screen and a Nexus sporting a 6 inch screen. Yes, times have changed, and so has the Note.
