This year at CES 2020, Lenovo has introduced two new worlds first products, the first ever foldable PC called the ThinkPad X1 Fold and the first ever 5G laptop called the Lenovo Yoga 5G. Lenovo also announced a version of the ThinkBook series with a e-ink display, a couple of Chromebooks and three new smart home displays.
Legion, Lenovo’s line of gaming focused products has made a few announcements at CES 2020. These include their thinnest ever Legion Gaming laptop called the Legion 740s, their external GPU enclosure called the Legion Booststation, a 240Hz Legion gaming monitor and bunch other peripherals like keyboards and mice.
Along with the T-Rex and Bip S smartwatches, Huami has also introduced Amazfit PowerBuds wireless earbuds with a built-in heart rate sensor to monitor your heart rate during workout and the Amazfit ZenBuds will help you to get a good sleep, says the company. Amazfit has announced T-Rex, the company’s first outdoor smartwatch at the CES 2020, as it had promised. It has passed 12 regulations of the military-standard (MIL-STD-810G) quality test and can withstand extreme heat and cold, is resistant against corrosion, moisture resistance and has a durable body. It has heat resistance of 70℃, resistance to severe cold of minus 40℃, has passed 240-hour damp heat test, and 96-hour acid-alkali test. Smartphone manufacturers have been improving the voice quality on smartphones through better hardware every time to offer the best voice quality experience to users. In the past, brands like Xiaomi have also experimented with Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system instead of an earpiece. Although the voice call quality also depends on the network, the quality of the voice calls made through Bluetooth accessories is not there yet. Now, Qualcomm’s new aptX voice codec aims to solve this issue and this comes after the introduction of aptX and aptX HD technologies for music streaming previously.

MediaTek just announced Dimensity 800, the company’s latest SoC in the Dimensity series with built-in 5G, as it had promised. This comes after Dimensity 1000 that was introduced back in November last year. The Dimensity uses 7nm process technology, same as the Dimensity 1000, but this features four Cortex-A76 cores operating up to 2GHz and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2.0GHz. The company just says Dimensity 1000-class GPU, combined with MediaTek gaming technology – HyperEngine without revealing the GPU model. Recently, Samsung teased the launch of a new “Artificial Human” at CES 2020 event and didn’t disclose many details then. Now, at the Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung has unveiled NEON Artificial Human which is powered by Core R3 and Spectra, and more details about the project have been revealed now.

We do not know who asked for it, but we definitely love it as ASUS has announced the worlds first and fastest ROG Swift 360 gaming monitor at CES 2020 that refreshes at, you guessed it, an insane 360 Hz. Along with this, ASUS also launched new gaming laptops in the ROG Zephyrus and TUF series, all powered by Ryzen 3rd gen mobile CPUs.
