Asus has announced Fonepad 7 (FE171CG), a refreshed variant of last year’s Fonepad 7 at the CES this year. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, similar to the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG that was launched in India last year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, comes with a 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB or 2GB RAM depending on the region. Lenovo today announced two new Android tablets, Tab 2 A7-10 and Tab 2 A7-30 in the A-series. These Tab 2 series of tablets, successors of last year’s A7-30 have 7-inch (1024 x 600) IPS displays, are powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT8382M SoCs and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Both these have 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and pack a 3450mAh battery. The Tab 2 A7-30 also comes in 16GB variant. LG G Flex 2 exclusive to Vodafone UK, launches next month

Vodafone have announced they have secured a six-week exclusive on the LG G Flex 2 which was announced at CES 2015 yesterday in Las Vegas. The follow-up to the LG G Flex – which launched in November 2013 – brings improvements to the processor, OS, screen and camera and will go on sale in Korea at the end of this month before launching in the UK next month. Kodak IM5 Android smartphone with 13MP camera official

Kodak has announced IM5, the company’s latest Android smartphone built by Bullitt Group, as promised at the CES, but it is not a camera-centric smartphone and has only 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is upgradable to Android Lollipop later this year. HTC Desire 826 with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Android 5.0 announced

HTC has unveiled the Desire 826, the company’s latest phablet at the CES 2015 as expected. It has the 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, compared to HD display on Desire 816 and Desire 820, but this is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) and has Adreno 405 GPU, similar to the Desire 820.
