Xiaomi confirms Redmi K30 will be powered by Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform, Mi 10 with Snapdragon 865 coming in Q1 2020


At the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit, Xiaomi co-founder and VP Bin Lin announced that Mi 10, the company’s next-gen flagship smartphone and the successor of Mi 9 will be powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile platform. He also said that it will use Samsung’s 108 MP sensor, same as Mi MIX Alpha, CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10. Next year the company is aiming to introduced 10 5G smartphones, and bring 5G Mi Watch 2. Xiaomi VP said that they are waiting for 5G version of Snapdragon 3100.

After teasers, he confirmed that Redmi K30 will be the first 5G Xiaomi device that will be powered by Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform. There should also be the 4G version that will likely be powered by Snapdragon 765.

It also has 6.67-inch screen with 4.38mm dual punch-hole, AG frosted glass back and a 4500mAh battery with 30W Super fast charging support that can charge the phone fully in 1 hour. We should know all the details about the phone when it goes official next Tuesday.
