Samsung Galaxy S Duos with Android 4.0 image and specs surface

Samsung Galaxy S Duos (S7562), Dual SIM Android phone has surfaced online along with the complete specs. The design looks similar to the Galaxy S III but according to GSMArena it is expected to comes with a Dual SIM support with dual standby, 4.0-inch WVGA(480×800) capacitive touch screen display and 1 GHz MSM7227A Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Samsung working on Odyssey and Marco Windows Phone 8 devices

Samsung just showed a patent filing which reveals that they are working on two Windows Phone 8 devices to launch later this year. The higher end of the two, the Samsung Odyssey seems to be highly inspired by the Galaxy SIII which is Samsung’s flagship Android device.

Samsung has officially launched the Omnia M, their new Windows Phone handset in India. It went on sale in India last week from Samsung eStore. Samsung launches 32GB Galaxy SIII in India at Rs. 41,500

Samsung had announced that it will be launching a 32GB and 64GB model alongside the 16GB edition when it unveiled its flagship, Galaxy SIII. The 32GB version is now available in India at Samsung’s online store at a price point of Rs. 41,500.

IDC: Mobile Phone Market Q2 2012 – Samsung, Apple top Smartphone vendors by shipments

Samsung, Nokia and Apple are the leading Mobile vendors by shipments once again in Q2 2012, according to a report by Research Firm IDC (International Data Corporation). Mobile phone market grew 1% year over year in Q2 2012 with worldwide shipments of 406.0 million units compared to 401.8 million units in Q2 2011. Samsung reports Q2 2012 profits as $5.86 billion

Samsung just reported its Q2 earnings for 2012. The South Korea based company managed to rack up an operating profit of $5.86 billion which was largely due to growth in its smartphone segment. That’s a whopping 79% year on year increase.

Samsung introduces Galaxy S3 London Olympics special edition flip cover

Samsung, Worldwide Olympic Partner for Wireless Communications Equipment has launched London Olympics special edition flip cover in UK. They have also partnered with Holiday Inn for providing Galaxy S3 users with an app that would let them use their smartphone as a room key or a portable hotel interphone, and to turn on/off the TV, Air conditioner, lights, and A/V in the Holiday Inn group of hotels. In addition, this app also local information, location-based offers and news. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 advertisement leaks online

A 30 second advertisement showing off the multitasking capabilities of the Galaxy Note  in addition to other features is now available online. A modeling agency, Step Management, has uploaded the video online showing the tablet being used in a business environment. Unfortunately the video does not shed light on the release date, specifications or the price.

Over 10 million Galaxy SIII sales since launch says Samsung

Back in June, Samsung had announced that the Galaxy SIII would reach 10 million sales by July and it seems that they’ve reached that goal right on schedule. Shin Jying Kyun of Samsung has announced that the Galaxy SIII crossed the 10 million sales mark since its launch on May 29th.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100) that was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year is now on sale in India from Samsung eStore. The Galaxy Tab 2 310, 7-inch variant that we reviewed recently officially launched in India in May. It has 10.1-inch WXGA(1280×800) PLS TFT display, 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Touchwiz UI, 3MP rear-facing camera and VGA front facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Beam launched in India for Rs. 33,900


Samsung has launched the Galaxy Beam, successor of their previous Beam, in India. It was announced at MWC earlier this year and went on pre-order last month and went on sale last week. It comes with 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It has 15 lumens pico projector that allows users to share photos, videos or other digital media instantly and in crisp clarity up to 50-inch wide, at a distance of 2 meters. It is 12.5mm thick. Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S III exclusively coming to AT&T, pre-order starts on July 15

AT&T has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be available exclusively in Garnet Red color by this month as they promised. It has similar features as the White and Blue version including, 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4  1.5 GHz Dual Core processor. Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S3 for AT&T – Official Photos

AT&T has announced the pre-order for the Garnet Red variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is exclusive to AT&T. Customers can pre-order this device through the operators website and in the company’s retail stores starting from July 15. In-store availability is set for July 29th.  We have already seen the White Galaxy S3 and the Pebble Blue S3 and this is the first glimpse at the red one. There a couple of photos after the jump.
