The hardware specifications of the two edition of Samsung Galaxy Mega phablet was leaked just a couple of days ago. Today, we have received images of what looks like the AnTuTu benchmarking results of the upcoming Mega 2 smartphone.
The unit involved in the benchmarking carries the model number SM-G750F, which reveals that the device is one of the variants of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 zoom last year, to place their bets on the cameraphone market. It didn’t work out so well, as the S4 zoom was basically two devices slapped on together. The sequel announced this year, the Galaxy K zoom, is visibly better, with a slimmer profile and a lens unit that is more pocketable. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S5 4G+ in Singapore. It is a variant of the Galaxy S5 broadband LTE-A that was launched in Korea in June. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and has LTE-A support up to 300 Mbps. Other specifications are similar to the global Galaxy S5 variants, including a 5.1-inch 1080p display, 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage with expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD and a 2800 mAh battery. As announced earlier, Samsung and Barnes and Noble have unveiled their first co-branded Nook tablet. Dubbed as Galaxy Tab 4 Nook Tablet, it has a 7-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution screen and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has started receiving Android 4.4 (KitKat) update India. It was launched in India back in February this year running Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). The Galaxy Grand 2 got the KitKat update in India last month. As you can see from the image, the changelog is similar to the other Samsung smartphones. Samsung Electronics has acquired SmartThings, a home automation company that builds open platform for the Internet of Things (IoT). It will operate as an independent company within Samsung’s Open Innovation Center group . The team will remain the same and will relocate to a new headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, said CEO of SmartThings, Alex Hawkinson on their official blog. Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 4, the company’s fourth smartphone in the Note series at the Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event at IFA on September 3rd. Erafone, an online retailer in Indonesia has listed the Note 4 ahead of official announcement, along with the specifications.
