Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 zoom last year, to place their bets on the cameraphone market. It didn’t work out so well, as the S4 zoom was basically two devices slapped on together. The sequel announced this year, the Galaxy K zoom, is visibly better, with a slimmer profile and a lens unit that is more pocketable. The megapixels are higher and the phone itself gets a decent spec boost, but does Samsung get the formula right this time? Or is the company going to need a third time lucky? Samsung Galaxy K zoom Benchmarks

The Samsung Galaxy K zoom is the latest camera-centric smartphone from the company that was launched recently. We already brought you the unboxing of the K zoom, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The K zoom is powered by a Hexa-Core Exynos 5260 with two Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz per core. Samsung Galaxy K zoom pre-order begins exclusively on Amazon India at Rs. 29999

Earlier this week Amazon India said that it would bring the Samsung Galaxy K zoom to India exclusively. Amazon India has just announced that the camera-centric smartphone would be available for pre-order on its website for Rs. 29,999 starting today midnight. It would launch in India exclusively on Amazon.in on July 9th, 2014 and the pre-orders will ship on the same date.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K zoom at an event in Singapore back in April. Samsung is planning to launch the smartphone in India soon and it would go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in. Amazon is also running a social contest that ends July 13th. Hope we can expect the India launch sometime in July. This was first spotted by BGR.in. Samsung has just announced the Galaxy K zoom, the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone at an event in Singapore. It has a 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash. It has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, powered by a Hexa-Core processor (1.7 GHz Dual Core Cortex A15+ 1.3 GHz Quad Core Cortex A7) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the latest Samsung Touchwiz UX.
