After revealing the F31 Series launch, OPPO has confirmed that there will be 3 smartphones in the series -OPPO F31, F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ that will launch on September 15th.

The phones incorporate enlarged vapor chambers and thermal management systems to mitigate heat, while a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging is included to provide all-day power. For durability, the devices feature a 360° Armour Body with multi-layer shock absorption and carry IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for protection against drops, dust, and water.
The OPPO F31 series has also received an A+ certification from SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) for High-Temperature Fluency, confirming stable frame rates, responsive touch, and fluid animations under heavy use.
Performance and Thermal Design
The F31 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, built on a 4nm process. Its octa-core Kryo CPU includes a 2.63GHz Cortex-A715 Prime core, with an Adreno 720 GPU and Qualcomm AI Engine providing a claimed 60% improvement in performance per watt. The device supports up to 24 GB of RAM (12 GB physical + 12 GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. Its 5,219 mm² vapor chamber, which is 856 mm² larger than the previous generation, is designed to improve thermal dissipation.
The F31 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy, another 4nm octa-core processor, with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It also offers up to 24 GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This model features a 4,363 mm² vapor chamber and expanded graphite sheets to help dissipate heat.
The standard F31 model is equipped with the 6nm Dimensity 6300 SoC. This device includes a 4,300 mm² vapor chamber and extended graphite coverage, which is said to improve thermal efficiency by 21% over the prior generation.
Software and System Fluency
All three smartphones run ColorOS 15 with OPPO’s Dual-Engine Smoothness System, which combines the Trinity Engine and the Luminous Rendering Engine. The Trinity Engine is designed to manage CPU cache and algorithms in real time, aiming to reduce unnecessary frequency spikes and improve battery efficiency. The Luminous Rendering Engine is a parallel animation system that merges animations at the system level to prevent stuttering when switching between apps.
An adaptive heat strategy raises the throttling threshold from 42°C to 44–45°C to maintain performance in warm conditions. These features are part of OPPO’s 72-Month Fluency Protection 2.0, which includes storage defragmentation and intelligent pre-loading to maintain performance over a period of six years.
Productivity and AI Tools

The F31 Series integrates several AI-powered tools aimed at professionals. AI VoiceScribe can record meetings or calls, providing real-time translation, subtitles, and summaries in over 29 languages, including Hindi, English, Kannada, and others. The AI Call Assistant translates both sides of a call in real time using Google’s Gemini model. Additionally, OPPO Docs uses AI to summarize, translate, or rewrite documents, while the AI Assistant for Notes can restructure unorganized text and correct errors.
Battery and Charging
All models in the series are equipped with a 7,000 mAh battery. With 80W SuperVOOC charging, OPPO claims the battery can reach 58% capacity in 30 minutes and a full charge in just over an hour. The phones also support wired reverse charging. Bypass charging is included to route power directly to the phone during gaming, which helps to reduce heat and extend battery lifespan.
Camera Systems

The F31 Pro+ features a 32MP front camera and a rear camera system with a 50MP main camera (OV50D40 sensor) with two-axis OIS and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The F31 Pro has a similar setup with OIS optical zoom. The standard F31 includes a 50MP main sensor and two 2MP portrait lenses, with a 16MP front camera.
The series supports 4K video at 30 fps and 4K underwater photography, with an IP68 rating allowing submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Availability
The OPPO F31 Series—consisting of the F31 Pro+, F31 Pro, and F31—is scheduled for release in India on September 15, 2025. The phones will be available from Amazon.in, Flipkart and other online stores as well as offline stores after the launch. Pricing and storage details will be announced at the time of launch.
