Nokia 710 : WP7 , Interchangeable Back Covers Announced.

Nokia has just unveiled its 2nd Windows Phone device. The Nokia 710 which comes in black and white varieties will offer a choice of black, white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow back covers. The 3.7-inch screen offers an 800 x 480-pixel resolution with a ClearBlack TFT for great colors and readability even in bright sunlight. At the rear, there’s a five-megapixel auto-focus camera with an LED flash. The camera can also shoot HD video at 30 frames-per-second.

Kik Messenger Introduces New Symbian, Windows Phone Apps At Nokia World

The cross platform messenger service Kik today launched its Symbian and updated Windows Phone apps at the Nokia World conference in London. The messenger competes with the likes of WhatsApp and is also  available on iOS , Android and Blackberry platforms. With the new Symbian app Kik Messenger users should be able to communicate regardless of platform of choice.

Lava Mobiles launches LAVA S12 Android Phone

Lava mobiles has launched their first Android Smartphone, the LAVA S12 that is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo). It is a sleek phone which is 13.5mm thick and has matte leather finish with rounded top and bottom edges. The hard keys and edges  have metallic silver finish. It features  600MHz  Qualcomm processor and has 3D home screen UI which is customizable that has unique smart folders and a rich set of animated 3D widgets. Motorola RAZR hands-on

This morning I had the chance to play with Motorola’s newest Android smartphone – the RAZR. The impossibly slim smartphone is the thinnest I have ever held. At 7.1mm thickness, the RAZR best the Galaxy S2 by a full 1.4mm.

The RAZR’s specs are typical of what to expect from a late 2011 smartphone. Beneath the glossy and stylish metal exterior lies a Texas Instrument OMAP 4430 SoC with dual core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. HTC will try to update most its devices to Ice Cream Sandwich

HTC just broadcasted all over their Facebook fan page that they plan to update as many HTC devices to Ice Cream Sandwich as possible *tears of joy*. Modernizing their devices with the latest applications is the most rudimentary step for consumer loyalty, and being leading Android makers, HTC wants to do just that.

Promotional videos released for Motorola RAZR

The promotional videos for the Motorola RAZR, the latest phone on the block, have been released. Apart from being the ‘thinnest smartphone ever made’, most of the hype is about inclusion of the Gorilla Glass and its Kevlar coating which means it is practically impervious to screen scratches.
