Le Max Pro the first smartphone with Snapdragon 820 goes on sale in China

LeEco Le Max Pro, which was the first smartphone to be announced with the Snapdragon 820 SoC also becomes the first smartphone with the processor to go on sale in China. Founder and CEO Jia Yueting today on weibo (Via) said that 1000 units of the flagship smartphone will be available for purchase at 1999 yuan (US$ 306 / Rs. 20,995 approx.). Even though they are just engineering models and not the retail units, users can switch it for the final version when the commercial version is out. OPPO today announced its new VOOC Super Flash Charge technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona. It can charge a device with a 2500mAh battery to 45% in just five minutes, offering 10 hours of talk time and fully charge it in just 15 minutes. “It is achieved by applying a newly developed low-voltage pulse-charge algorithm, along with OPPO’s customized battery, multiple technical innovations, as well as first-class hardware and software,” said OPPO. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) wit Amigo OS 3.2 on top, which has several new features such a dual WhatsApp support for each SIMs, floating window to watch video while on WhatsApp or browser, Gionee abroad service and more.
