Skype has announced that it is killing its Qik video messaging app on March 24. Launched in October 2014 on Android, iOS and Windows Phone, the Qik app allowed users to record video upto 42 seconds long.

Yahoo has quietly launched a video messaging app that allows users to send a short live video with text that does not have an audio. Dubbed as “Livetext – Video Messenger”, the app is currently available for Android.
