Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The Android version is still at Android 6.0.1, but the latest update fixes several critical issues, including issues in Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in Mediaserver and libvpx, Elevation of Privilege in Conscrypt, Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability in the Qualcomm Performance Component, MediaTek Wi-Fi Driver and in Keyring Component. Sony has started rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update for a couple of devices. First up, the update is coming to the Japanese variants of the entire Xperia Z5 lineup which includes the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium. The update will soon follow the global variants in the coming weeks.
It looks like Amazon India is the latest entrant in the effervescent digital wallet market. The e-commerce giant is gearing up to launch its own digital wallet in the country by Q2 2016, according to a latest report from the Times of India. The original ZenWatch from ASUS was a breath of fresh air in the smartwatch industry thanks to its new and beautiful design. HTC has posted a record low revenue for February 2016 which is lowest for the company in nearly 11 years. The Taiwanese smartphone maker posted NT$4.2 billion in revenues for February 2016 which is down from about NT$9.2 billion for same period in 2015.
