The first Nokia Harmattan / MeeGo device , the Nokia N9 , has been garnering rave reviews everywhere. However there is one more MeeGo phone ie the developer only Nokia N950. Rumor has it that the N950 was supposed to be launched in 2010 as the first MeeGo device but got canned. Nokia has been handing these out to select developers to spurt the development of Qt apps for the N9 as well as the next billion Qt enabled devices.

A rumoued Nokia Symbian phone – the Zeta ( Nokia 700) running the Symbian Belle update has been leaked in press photos. We had previously heard about the 1GHz Nokia Phones last month. The Zeta might be Nokia’s thinnest smartphone with a thickness of 8 mm.

This app lets you explore the planet by viewing the places along with the images, wiki pages of popular places. Here is a quick look at Multitasking on the Nokia N9 powered by MeeGo. When you see a preview of all the apps currently running , it shows you the every app’s current state in realtime and not just a screenshot like in some other platforms. This handset was announced last year and it was finally launched in India during the Q1 of 2011. At the first look, this handset seems a pretty ordinary device, but the slim stainless steel body give it a premium look and feel. The touchscreen display is quite smooth and it helps us to save a lot of time while performing various tasks. I graduated in Electronics and Communications and Finnish names are pretty common in any work in the wireless communication space. Nokia’s contribution to this space is pretty huge and the latest proof is Apple agreeing to become a licensee of Nokia. Now if you are a fan of technology , the first GSM call on a commercial network was made 20 years ago between Finland’s Prime Minister Harri Holkeri and Kaarina Suonio,vice mayor of the Finnish city of Tampere . The network was built by Telenokia and Siemens now known as Nokia Siemens Networks – for the Finnish operator Radiolinja, now known as Elisa.

The popular Nokia C5 just got updated by Nokia to bring it more in line with current gen phones. The spec bumps are minor but appreciated nonetheless. The phone physically remains the same and runs the same OS ie S60v3 but now gets to enjoy 256MB of RAM which is double of the previous version. The processor remains the same.
The two pictures leaked indicate four new upcoming handsets from Nokia equipped with 1GHz processors. They are codenamed Helen, Zeta, Cindy and Fate.
