Google has just announced the Android Device Manger, a service that would let you keep your device and the data you store inside safe and secure. This service would let you make your device ring to find it if it’s misplaced and also lets you locate it on a map in real time if you have lost it. Google launched the Chromecast last week and we already managed to get hold of this interesting device on FoneArena. So what does a Chromecast do ? It is basically a dongle for your TV which lets you watch online video and more on your large screen TV. You can watch Youtube , Netflix , Google Play movies and your Chrome brower tab on your large screen TV using this tiny little dongle which connects to it using the standard HDMI socket.Most modern TVs would draw power from the HDMI itself but certain older ones like mine would require external power. Google unveiled the second generation Google Nexus 7 on July 24th in the Breakfast with Sundar Pichai event in San Francisco. The Google Nexus 7 2 will initially be available in USA and will gradually roll out across the globe and will eventually come to India. I was in New York city recently for an event and managed to get hold of the recently launched Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition for unboxing as I’m a huge fan of devices running stock Android and the Galaxy S4 has some great internals and a full HD Super AMOLED display. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top on Android does offer some useful features but it does come at a cost in terms of free space on the device and

Google announced the Google Play Games services back in May at the Google I/O. Now the Google Play Games app is live in the Play Store that lets you invite a friend and start challenging gamers around the world, compete for top achievements, and race to the top of the leaderboard. You can also discover new games and play with friends and join supported multiplayer games. It also shows notifications and friend’s requests. By default only users from your Google Play circles can send requests, but you can change it from the settings. Google unveiled the new Nexus 7 few hours back. The Nexus 7 comes in 3 variants, 16GB WiFi, 32GB WiFi and 32GB 4GLTE. Google announced that the WiFi version of the Nexus 7 (2013) would go on sale first in the U.S starting from July 30th over Google Play and several local retailers. It also announced that the Asus-made Nexus 7 tablet would be available United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Japan, Korea, and Australia in the coming week with other countries to follow soon after. Google has announced a new product called Chromecast that allows you to use your phone, tablet or laptop to cast online content to your TV screen by plugging the Chromecast device in to your high-definition (HD). It works with Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, and Google Play Music and more. Google promises that more apps like would be available soon. Google announced the new Nexus 7 at an event in New York few hours back starting at $229 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model. It also comes in 32GB Wi-Fi model that costs $269. Google has also announced the 32GB model with global 4G LTE support at $349. The first Nexus 7 came only with 3G HSPA+ support that new Nexus 7 also comes with 4G LTE support apart from 3G HSP+. Since these support global LTE bands (700/750/800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 MHz) it will work on all the LTE networks other than the 2300 MHz TDD-LTE network.

Google announced the new Nexus 7 today at an event in San Francisco where the updated Nexus 7 tablet was one of the main highlights of the event. We have seen plenty of leaks of this device including an unboxing so not much was left for the official announcement except for the confirmation of the specs , the pricing and launch date. The biggest difference on this Nexus tablet is the update Full HD screen which makes it the highest resolution screen on a 7 inch tablet and also crushes the competition especially the iPad mini. It is the first tablet to run Android 4.3 out of the box which we have covered separately. The new Nexus 7 is marginally thinner than the first gen Nexus 7 and lighter too. It is slightly narrower than the previous model. Another big change is the move from Nvidia Tegra 3 to a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in terms of the internals. And yes it is still made by Asus. Best Buy, one of the popular online retailer in the U.S has put up the New Nexus 7 for pre-order at $229.99 and $269.99 for the 16GB and 32GB variants. Unboxing images and video of the device surfaced earlier today, now the images and the complete specifications of the tablet has been revealed in the official listing. It has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1200 10-finger capacitive touch screen IPS display with 178 degrees viewing angles at 320 ppi pixel density and scratch-resistant glass, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). We had already seen several leaks of the device, now Android Police has posted the unboxing images and video and benchmarks of the ASUS-made Google Nexus 7 tablet. The tablet has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1200 at 320 ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) (build JWR66N)out of the box. Earlier today evleaks leaked the press shots of the New Google Nexus 7. Now Android Police has leaked the press images of the tablet that shows off a new wallpaper. This might be the default wallpaper in the Android 4.3 says the website. Unlike the first Nexus 7 tablet, this has a LED notification light and a rear camera. It would also feature a SlimPort similar to the Nexus 4, but it lacks the pogo pins for the docking station that was present in last year’s Nexus 7. The leaker @evleaks in back again with a press shot of the upcoming redesigned Google Nexus 7 made by Asus. The new Nexus 7 looks a lot thinner from the image but it is very hard to tell from the angle. You can see the front with the display with the onscreen buttons like on the current Nexus 7. On the rear you can see a relatively larger camera along with the Nexus branding. This is not the first time we are hearing about this product and it was leaked a lot in recent times.
