Update: January 26, 2022 – After severe backlash, realme has backtracked from its earlier statement and has confirmed that it will offer Android 12 update for the realme Pad in Q3 2022, which is between July and September. Back in 2020 OnwardMobility signed an agreement with BlackBerry and FIH Mobile Limited, a subsidiary of Foxconn, to sell new smartphones starting with a 5G BlackBerry Android smartphone with a physical keyboard in 2021. POCO launched the POCO M2 Pro handset last year in India. The POCO M2 Pro shares a lot in common with the Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. All these devices came preloaded with Android 10, and have already been updated to Android 11 based MIUI 12. It’s not clear if Xiaomi and POCO have plans to upgrade these devices to Android 12 based MIUI.

HMD Global introduced the company’s flagship Nokia 9 PureView camera-centric smartphone at the MWC back in 2019 running Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone got Android 10 update in December 2019. In October last year, it promised that it will get Android 11 update in Q2 2021, later it pushed it to Q3 2021.
