Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a with Android 13 doesn’t support roll back to Android 12

The Android 13 stable update was released by Google a few hours back for Pixel devices, and it is currently rolling out to Pixel devices. Google Pixel 6a display was turned into operating at 90Hz

The Google Pixel 6a, which has been announced and is a less expensive variant of the Google Pixel 6 for 2021, has drawn a lot of attention. The refresh rate has been compromised by the Pixel 6a in order to reduce prices. We are all aware that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6a have similar displays. In case you forgot, the Google Pixel 6a’s refresh rate is fixed at the standard 60Hz, whereas the Pixel 6 has a top refresh rate of 90Hz. Pixel 6a won’t feature Pixel 6’s fingerprint sensor

We don’t know yet how fast the Google Pixel 6a’s fingerprint sensor will be. While the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro’s fingerprint sensors have been criticised recently, the upcoming Pixel 6a’s sensor might indeed perform better. Change doesn’t always address things, and yet Google has revealed that the forthcoming mid-range device won’t use the same in-display fingerprint scanner as the Pixel 6 series devices. According to Android Central, Google’s senior VP of devices and services, Rick Osterloh, acknowledged the change, yet no specifics were revealed. Google Pixel 6a with 6.1″ FHD+ OLED display, Google Tensor SoC, IP67 water resistant body announced; Coming to India later this year

Google just announced the Pixel 6a at its Google I/O event, as expected. The phone comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, is powered by Google Tensor SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA and comes with Titan M2 Security chip. These run Android 12, and will receive security updates for at least 5 years, but OS updates is at 3 years, same as Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Google Pixel 6a with 6.2-inch OLED display, Google Tensor SoC could launch in May

Google Pixel 6a renders surfaced last year showing off the phone’s 6.2-inch flat OLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, rear camera bar, similar to the Pixel 6, metal frame and a glass back. Some specifications of the smartphone surfaced in a Google Camera app later. According to reliable OnePlus leaker Max J on Twitter, Google is planning to launch the Pixel 6a in May this year. Google Pixel 6a with 6.2-inch OLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras surface

Google introduced the Pixel 5a smartphone back in August, but it was limited to  U.S. and Japan. Today, the first renders of the upcoming Pixel 6a has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a 6.2-inch flat OLED screen with a centre punch-hole, compared to a 6.34-inch screen in the Pixel 5a. It also shows an in-display fingerprint scanner.
