The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are now certified for Verizon’s C-Band service, and consumers may start using them right away. Customers with Pixel 6 devices will be able to use Verizon’s mid-band airwaves after the update. It stands between Sub-6 and mmWave 5G, as the term suggests. While not quite as quick as the latter, C-band is a significant improvement over the former. Google already confirmed the launch of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones later this fall and also said that it will use its own Tensor SoC, feature an aluminium frame with matte finish on the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will come with a polished aluminium frame. Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro surfaced in renders last week, thanks to leaker, Jon Prosser. It didn’t reveal the complete design of the phones. Now more detailed renders of the Pixel 6 Pro have surfaced, thanks to OnLeaks. This shows the chin below the display, and the phone is said to feature a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED screen with minimal bezels and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
