Microsoft at Mobile World Congress 2011 spoke about the upcoming updated to their Windows Phone 7 operating system. Starting March 2011 , Microsoft plans to bring out a series of software updates which will make the operating system competitive with Android and the Apple iPhone.

Nokia’s partnership with Microsoft will result in bringing Navteq sourced maps to both WP7 as well as Bing Maps. Microsoft also demoed their upcoming integration with the Kinect gaming system. Watch our video from the event below.
Like we had already posted , Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 based concept phone renders got leaked earlier this week. Today at the Nokia event we got confirmation from Jo Harlow that these concepts were a culmination of two months of combined work by Nokia’s hardware engineers and Microsoft’s software engineers.

ASUS have announced two new tablets at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Expo. One device is called the EeePad MeMO and the other is the EeeSlate EP121.
