Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update starts rolling out

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy S3, earlier than expected. Samsung announced earlier this month that the Android Jelly Bean update would be available for the Galaxy S3 in October and for the Galaxy S2 in November.

This update would bring  faster performance, Reorganized settings menu, 2 Homescreen modes, S Note,  Google Now service, contextual search, Better notifications, Resizable Pop-up play screen and more new features.

The update is about 774MB and is now available for Galaxy S3 users in Poland via Kies. It would be gradually rolled out for other countries soon. It took 2 months for Samsung to roll out the ICS update for the S2 in India after the official roll out in Korea. Hope Samsung rolls out the Jelly Bean update for the S3 users in India soon.
