HUAWEI P50 Pocket foldable phone and HUAWEI Watch D with BP monitoring to be announced on December 23

After rumours, HUAWEI today scheduled its global launch event to introduce HUAWEI P50 Pocket, the company’s new foldable smartphone. In China, the company also confirmed that it will introduce the HUAWEI Watch D smartwatch with BP monitoring. The company’s CEO Richard Yu said that, in 2022, 10 years would have passed since the first Huawei P series mode. He added that this year, the company will see another breakthrough in the aesthetics in smartphone technology.

POCO launched the POCO M2 Pro handset last year in India. The POCO M2 Pro shares a lot in common with the Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. All these devices came preloaded with Android 10, and have already been updated to Android 11 based MIUI 12. It’s not clear if Xiaomi and POCO have plans to upgrade these devices to Android 12 based MIUI.

OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro OxygenOS 12 Android 12 Update: Filled with Bugs, Blocks Access to Auxiliary Cameras for GCam

OnePlus, earlier this week, rolled out OxygenOS 12 update, based on Android 12, for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro in India and North America. OxygenOS 12 brings with it several new features such as Reworked Icons, Adjustable Dark Mode, Improved Shelf, Work-Life Balance 2.0, Improved Shelf, Canvas AOD improvements, and more. However, it looks like OnePlus rushed to roll out the update as soon after updating the devices, OnePlus and OnePlus 9 Pro users started complaining of bugs.
