Opera to launch Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 at CTIA 2011
Opera Software has grand plans for CTIA 2011 starting next week in DisneyLand .. err Orlando , Florida. The browser maker is going to launch the next versions of the world’s most popular mobile browsers -Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 at the event. The company is also planning to launch a version of the browser optimized for tablets.

Acer has launched a new Android handset in India in the form of the Acer Liquid Metal. The Android 2.2 phone is powered by a Snapdragon processor and boasts of HSPA 14.4 Mbps support. It has a 5 MP Camera which also records video in 720p. The battery life promised is about 8 hours of talktime.

Motorola XOOM will be available in the US from March 27th at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam’s Club (select locations), Staples and Walmart. This device comes with a price tag of $599.
Motorola XOOM is the first tablet powered by the new Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system. This device was announced at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. It comes with a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor and so on. The Wi-Fi version of Motorola XOOM will be finally available for purchase from March 27th. Nokia to announce new Symbian handset at CTIA for USA
Nokia is planning to launch a new Symbian device at CTIA on March 21 happening at Orlando, Florida. Nokia’s performance in the American market has been disappointing compared to other major mobile markets such as Europe, China and India. Looks like Nokia’s new CEO Stephen Elop has plans to refocus on the American market which is one of the biggest mobile markets.

HP To Release TouchPad In June for $499?
HP TouchPad is expected to release in June with a price tag of just $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version and $599 for the 32GB variant. HP is also expected to announce a 7 inch tablet soon.
Back in February, HP announced its much-awaited tablet, the HP TouchPad. This device is powered by the HP webOS operating system and it features a 9.7 inch XGA capacitive display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for live video calling and so on. HP has not yet announced the release date and price of this device, but, according to the guys at PreCentral, HP TouchPad will finally release in June. Nokia E7 gets software update to PR1.1 version 14.002
The Nokia E7 has got a minor update to version 14.002 or PR 1.1. The update is 897 kB and is available via OTA. While the complete change log is not known , it is expected to improve the phone’s performance and fix some bugs.
