Review: Jabra Cruiser 2

I have always been a fan of Jabra Products, ever since i tried one of their headsets a few years ago. Just recently i got in touch with them about testing some of their products, and i was pleasantly surprised that the people at Jabra and Namu-PR are a very nice bunch. I laid my eyes on the Jabra Cruiser 2, a hands-free solution for every mobile phone that supports Bluetooth. A big thank you to Namu-PR for that!

Motorola Xoom WiFi version will launch in Malaysia on May 6th


Motorola has announced the launch of Honeycomb tablet, Motorola Xoom in Malaysia, which will be available on May 6th with Maxis Communications. This was launched in it Singapore recently. Motorola Xoom was showcased at CES 2011. The Wi-FI version was spotted last month and later it was officially launched in U.S at the end of March. The phone comes with features like HSDPA support for fast downloads, native SNS for keeping touch with social networks, multiple IM services for instant messaging with friends, and a full portfolio of multimedia features for on-the-go entertainment. Apple officially announces the White iPhone 4, available tomorrow.

Apple officially announced the iPhone 4 last year and it’s almost one year old now. iPhone 4 is no doubt a great device and Apple has sold more than 18 million iPhone units so far. When it was announced, Apple also announced that there will be a White iPhone 4 too but then Apple postponed it till July, and then in October, Apple delayed it again till 2011. We heard that it will be out around summer 2011 and now it’s finally here.

Apple India just left the cat out of the bag and informed us the iPad 2 is indeed launching in India this Friday. While we find the prices to be reasonable for a new Apple product that went on sale only last month in USA, some are disappointed about the prices which Apple has released for the iPad 2 . We decided to do a little comparison of the india prices and the US price.

Apple iPad 2 India Launch Confirmed , coming on April 29

Wow ! Apple India just sent a press release confirming that the iPad 2 is indeed launching in India on April 29th. The iPad 2 has been facing unexpected demand ever since it’s US launch and it is sold out in most stores. The iPad 2 will be available in Japan on April 28.It will be available in  Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, UAE and India on April 29.China will get the WiFi version on May 6th.

Nokia to outsource Symbian to Accenture along with 3000 employees , to reduce workforce by 4000

Nokia is outsourcing Symbian activities to Accenture and about 3000 employees are going to be transitioned. This is not surprising as Nokia is concentrating only on Windows Phone 7 as it’s primary smartphone platform right now. Symbian would continue to be breathing life at Accenture as Nokia employees who were working on the platform will continue to do so under the new employer. All is not good news though , Nokia plans to cut its global workforce by around 4000 employees by 2012 end in Denmark , UK  and Finland. It would be really interesting to see the result of the Nokia-Microsoft alliance as the Finnish handset maker seems to be betting big on the same.
