Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has received a price cut and is now available for Rs. 34900. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 2 at a price tag of Rs. 39,900 last September. The Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S Duos got a price cut earlier today, and the first Samsung Galaxy Note got a price cut back in December. BlackBerry Z10 Unboxing

BlackBerry launched the Z10, the first BlackBerry 10 few days back, and here we have the unboxing of the phone. The phone has a 4.2 inch multi-touch IPS LCD display at a resolution of 1280 by 768 at 356 PPI pixel density. The Z10 is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and comes with a microSD expansion slot.

Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S Duos get a price cut, now available for Rs. 28900 and Rs. 12900

Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S Duos in India yet again. Both these phones got a price cut at the end of December. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was launched in India in May at a MRP of Rs. 43,180, it got a price cut to Rs. 34,900 first, back in September, once again in December to Rs. 31,900. It is now available for Rs. 28,900 after the recent price cut. No sign of price cut for the 32GB version of the Galaxy S3. Asus MeMO Pad Smart with 10.1-inch IPS display, Android 4.1 announced

Asus has officially announced the MeMO Pad Smart, the company’s latest tablet with a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5MP auto-focus rear camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. It has Dual Stereo Speakers with SonicMaster Audio Technology for enhanced audio output. It surfacd on several online retail sites in Netherlands, Italy and Germany recently. Micromax A116 Canvas HD to go on sale from February 14

Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor last month. It is expected to go on sale in the first week of February, now they have announced that the phone would go on sale from February 14th. Asus 7-inch tablet with Intel Atom processor image, specs surface

There we several rumors about the Intel Atom-powered Asus tablet, now the first image and complete specifications of the tablets have surfaced on a Bulgarian website. The budget tablet has a code name of ME371MG, but it is rumored to be named as Fonepad. It would come with option to make phone calls, and have aluminium body. It would have a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor would power the tablet and it would have a 3MP rear camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera. Sony Xperia T and Xperia V Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update starts rolling out


Sony Mobile has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the 2012 Xperia devices starting from the Xperia T (9.1.A.0.489) and the Xperia V (v 9.1.A.0.490), as they promised. Ubuntu Smartphone Devices to Ship Starting October 2013

The Ubuntu operating system for Smartphones was recently unveiled with its radical UI and user experience getting much praise and accolade from the tech press. We took a hands on look at the Ubuntu OS running on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, at the International CES 2013 and we were quite impressed with it. Canonical inc., the minds behind the OS promised to bring a very similar experience from the desktop Ubuntu OS that is widely installed by various classes of consumers, to the smartphone experience. And they have just done that, with the Ubuntu for Smartphones. While we got to know about the software, the hardware was literally non existent at the OS launch, but that might be fixed real soon with Canonical CEO Mark Shuttleworth promising devices as early as October 2013.
