LG Vu Talk Demo

We had shown you the hands on of the LG Optimus Vu II earlier, and with the Vu II comes an interesting real-time collaboration feature that might impress you at first sight, and that is called Vu Talk. Vu Talk works between two Optimus Vu devices over a 3G or a WiFi network. It’s basically like real-time messaging but using a stylus-laden note taking app. Check out the really impressive demo of the Vu Talk in the hands on video.

Asus MeMO Pad 10 press images surface, launching at MWC?

Images of Asus MeMo Pad 10 (ME301T), the company’s upcoming 10-inch Tablet has surfaced online. It is also reportedly on sale in Netherlands and Italy before the official announcement. The specifications of the tablet surfaced last month, and it was rumored to show up in CES 2013. This has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor similar to the Transformer Pad TF300TG that was launched in India back in September last year. Carbon for Twitter finally arrives for Android

Carbon Twitter client for Android that was first previewed in March last year is finally available on Google Play. The UI looks good, and there are lot of unique features such as Tilt to Refresh, QuickTimeline, but it is missing lot of settings, Homescreen Widgets and Streaming. HTC M4 and HTC G2 specs leak out, to be announced after M7?

The HTC M7 is almost confirmed, with them planning the press event at London and NYC on the 19th of February, right before the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, which is starting on the 25th. But according to some new leaks from the leakmeister, @EVleaks at UnwiredView, HTC is filling up its portfolio with two other devices, the HTC M4 and the HTC G2. By looking at the specs, the HTC M4 looks like a mid to high end device, with possibilities of it being a successor to the HTC One S. It is also interesting to note that the hardware specs somewhat resemble the HTC Windows Phone 8X, while the HTC G2(which bears no similarities to the first Android phone) is supposedly a low end device and a probable successor to the HTC Desire C.

Evernote Hello for iPhone v2.0 update brings new UI, Business Card Scanning and more

Evernote has updated their Hello app for iPhone to version 2.0 that brings lot of new features including a new user interface with a new home screen that offers more context of a person at a glace, option to scan business cards (free for first 2 month, after that it would be available only for premium users), LinkedIn and Facebook integration and lots more new features. Apple, Samsung top Tablet vendors in Q4 2012: IDC

Apple and Samsung are the leading Tablet vendors by shipments in Q4 2012, according to a report by Research Firm IDC (International Data Corporation). The worldwide tablet market grew 75.3% year-over-year in the Q4 2012, with shipments of 52.5 million, compared to 29.9 million units in the Q4 2011. Intel to show off new dual-core Atom-powered Android smartphones at MWC 2013

Intel has announced that they would showcase new Android smartphones powered by their latest dual-core Atom SoC at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 later this month. Intel unveiled the Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ dual-core platform with a 2 GHz processor, dual 533 MHz PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU at the CES 2013, along with the Atom Z2420 with a 1.2 GHz single-core processor with PowerVR SGX 540 GPU. Acer Liquid C1 with 4.3-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor announced

Acer and Intel has announced the Liquid C1 powered by the Intel’s 1.2 GHz Atom Lexington Z2420 processor for the Asia Pacific region. The Xolo X500 that was launched in India last week uses the same processor, Acer was also announced as a partner at the announcement in CES 2013 last month. The Liquid C1 has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS touch screen display with 16:9 ratio and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash that can capture images at 5 frames per second. It also features a 0.3MP front-facing camera. LG Optimus L7 II Dual with 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 surface

LG Optimus L7 II Dual, the successor of the LG Optimus L7 has surfaced in an Russian site. It would have Dual SIM support, and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the Optimus L3 Dual and the Optimus Net Dual. It would feature a 4.3 inch IPS display similar to Optimus L7, but replaces the 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor for a 1 GHz dual-core processor. It would run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. It would obviously have a front-facing camera. Sony Mobile introduces my Xperia remote security service for Xperia Smartphones

Sony Mobile has announced their own free remote security service called my Xperia for Xperia smartphones. This would let the Xperia users find the device remotely when it is lost, protect private information by locking the device or delete all the information on the device. Reliance partners with Lenovo to launch co-branded Android Smartphones

Reliance Communications (RCOM) has announced a partnership with Lenovo, popular Chinese hardware manufacturer to launch range of Android smartphones in India. The smart phones would be available across different screen sizes, come with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, and work on CDMA and GSM network simultaneously using Reliance’s Dual Core network to switch calls between the two networks automatically based on the strength and quality of RF signals. White Nexus 4 spotted in the wild

Remember the White Galaxy Nexus that went official last year, months after the release of the Black version? Now, images of the White Nexus 4 has surfaced online. The phone looks gorgeous. It has a black bezel around the display with white finish on the sides and the back, similar to the white Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus and LG branding are in black, in contrast to the black version. Videocon has launched the VT71, a new 7-inch tablet. It has a 7-inch ( 800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a VGA front-facing camera and packs a 3200 mAh battery. Videocon launched the VT10, the company’s first 10-inch tablet running Android 4.1 earlier this month.
