itel has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the itel A100 Pro in the A100 series. Positioned in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment, the new model focuses on durability, updated software, and essential hardware features, despite recent upward trends in global memory pricing.
Durability and Design
The itel A100 Pro stands out in the budget category by securing a MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, indicating increased resistance to drops and environmental stressors. To further address hardware reliability, the brand is offering a free screen replacement within the first 100 days of purchase.
The device is available in three color variants: Comet Orange, Cloud White, and Black.
Display and Software Experience
The smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD+ display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. Integrated into the display interface is the Dynamic Bar, a software feature that displays contextual information such as battery status, incoming calls, and notifications without requiring the user to open full applications.
The audio experience is supported by DTS-powered sound technology. On the software front, the device runs on Android 15 Go edition, optimized for entry-level hardware efficiency.
