Huawei has officially launched the Ascend G600 and the G330 in India. The Ascend G330 went on sale in India last month, and the Ascend G600 went on sale couple of weeks back. The Ascend G600 has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS capactive touch screen display with 178 degree viewing angle, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and the Ascend G330 comes with a 4-inch ( 800×480 pixels) IPS capactive touch screen display and powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. Samsung Galaxy Express with 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 4.1 announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Express, new Android smartphone in the Galaxy series that comes with LTE support. It has a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It has a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p video recording 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 720p video recording and 1.3MP front-facing camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera. This comes with Mobile High Definition Link (MHL), Near Field Communication (NFC) with S Beam and AllShare Play. Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 Hands-on

Lenovo launched the IdeaTab A2107, the company’s low-cost Android tablet in India earlier this month for Rs. 14,000. We got to check out the tablet at the International CES 2013. The 7.0-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) AMOLED display with 5-point capacitive multitouch display, 350 nits brightness is sharp and bright. It is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek 6575 Cortex A9 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). At the top there is a 0.3MP front-facing camera and weighs 400 grams.

Micromax A65 Smarty 4.3 now available for Rs. 4999

Micromax A65 Smarty 4.3 Dual SIM Android smartphone is now available from online retailers Saholic and Flipkart in India. It has a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). HTC Butterfly Unboxing

The long awaited successor to the HTC One X was finally launched in India earlier this month. Called the HTC Butterfly, the phone brings a gorgeous 5inch full HD display and top of the line specs. The phone runs on Qualcomm’s S4 Pro quad core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of storage built in and you also get access to a microSD card slot. NXG Electronics, a Pune based company has launched Xfab 2 mini, Dual SIM Android smartphone in India. It features a 4.7-inch (960 × 540 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor. It has a 12 MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. LG Optimus Vu II hands-on

LG showed off the Optimus Vu II, their latest phablet at the CES 2013 that already launched in Korea last year. We got some hands-on time with the device that has a 5-inch (1,024 x 768 pixels) IPS display with a 4:3 Aspect Ratio similar to the Optimus Vu. 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor powers the device and it runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Optimus UI 3.0 on top. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update expected soon. It has a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and a expandable memory card slot.

Nokia and Airtel launch co-branded version of Nokia Xpress Browser


Bharti Airtel and Nokia has launched a customized version of Nokia Xpress Browser for the Airtel customers with Nokia Asha and select Series 40 devices.  The Nokia Xpress browser usually comes pre-loaded on Asha phones, but the new co-branded version would offer the Airtel subscribers and enhanced experience, by providing them with one-click access to Airtel’s premium mobile internet services and easy discoverability of rich content on-the-go. HTC Windows Phone 8S review

Microsoft and HTC have been closely related ever since the days of the first Windows Mobile devices so it was no surprise when HTC was amongst the first ones to launch Windows Phone 8 devices.

HTC Droid DNA hands on

The HTC Droid DNA is one of the world’s first phones, and the first phone in the US to come with a full HD 1080p screen. The Droid DNA is exclusive to Verizon Wireless and since the display is so special, we decided to take a look at it, at the International CES 2013. Spice Stellar Nhance Mi-435 with 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 now available for Rs. 7199

Spice Stellar Nhance Mi-435, a new Android smartphone in the Stellar series is now available from online retailer Saholic. The Spice Stellar Xtacy Mi-352, an entry-level smartphone went on sale earlier this month. The Stellar Nhance has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8 MP auto focus camera with LED Flash at the back and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. This would compete with the recently launched Xolo A500 that lies in the similar price range, and comes with similar features.
