Nexus 7 successor surfaces, might feature a Snapdragon 600 processor

A code-named ASUS K009, with the FCC ID code MSQK009 was certified in the U.S last week. The tablet has also surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG listing last week that shows the front part of the tablet in a tiny image. Rumors of the second-gen Nexus 7 surfaced back in April, and Reuters revealed that the tablet would feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of NVIDIA Tegra chip. HTC Desire 200 budget Android smartphone leaked

HTC Desire 200, a budget Android smartphone has surfaced Vietnamese website. HTC unveiled the Desire 600 dual SIM last month, looks like the company is slowly changing the way they name the device. The Desire 200 would feature a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, 1 GHz processor and run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Sense UI. It would also feature 5MP camera, Beats audio support and pack a 1400 mAh battery. The looks like an enhanced version of the Desire C that was launched last year. Micromax Canvas 4 teased again in two videos, design is all but revealed

It was only yesterday when Micromax had started the teaser campaign in Facebook for its upcoming flagship device, the Micromax Canvas 4, and as a follow up, they have released two teaser videos in their YouTube channel showing off the device in (almost) full glory. The design revealed, bears a close resemblance to some other phones we have seen, but it does seems to have an aluminium frame and the 13 Megapixel camera unit was proudly boasted in the first teaser video. Nokia EOS 41MP PureView body in metal, or a 5.3 inch phablet?

Remember the last time when the Nokia EOS and its circular 41 MP camera hump leaked out? It looked a lot like the Lumia 920 with a polycarbonate body that time, but there is yet another leak, and from the looks of it, it’s from the shady factories in China. The above two images literally show off a metallic body for the highly awaited Nokia EOS device to be launched by Nokia at an event in NYC on July 11th. The metallic body is a surprise as the device was already shown off in a polycarbonate body, but from what we can see above, the metallic body seems like an option as a part of the different colours, or at least we hope.
Update: The device in the images above seems to be unnaturally long, especially when you note the openings for the controls on the right. Is this actually a Nokia phablet we are looking at?

Lava Iris 504Q with gesture controls, 5 inch HD screen launched for Rs 13,499

Lava just introduced its new handset, the Iris 504q, at an event in Delhi. Powered by a 1.2Ghz MediaTek processor, the handset also has 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.2 running phone is geared towards media consumption thanks to the large 5 inch HD 720p display. A front facing 2MP camera is provided to facilitate video calls while a rear facing 8MP shooter takes care of photography duties. The camera is capable of capturing video in 1080p resolution. The Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 was the phone that kickstarted a new range of big screened smartphones from Micromax, and after the success of the Canvas HD, Micromax seems ready for yet another device, called the “Canvas 4”. Micromax teased the side-facing image of the upcoming phone and the ever important pre-booking date of June 28.

We already reported that Lava Mobiles would release a new device with gesture controls this month. Now the company has posted a new 6 second video on their Facebook page that shows off the gesture controls in the phone that would let you flick through the pictures within the camera app. The phone has also showed up on the official Lava website that reveals the model as 504Q. Popular source of pre-release information, evleaks, has one once again delivered by releasing the specifications for Motorola’s upcoming device. If this information is to be believed then the fabled Motorola Moto X may turn out to be a rather mid range handset. CPUID has released the CPU-Z, popular PC/Windows CPU Identification for Android. This shows SoC name, architecture, clock speed for each core, Battery info, Sensors and more for your Android device. Senors tab is one of the most useful feature that lets you find the number of sensor on your device. It works on Android devices running on Android 3.0 or above. Micromax A88 Canvas Music Benchmarks

Micromax launched the A88 Canvas Music, the first Music Phone in the Canvas series last month. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display and run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1 Ghz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor based on ARM Cortex A9 with PowerVR SGX531 GPU. Here are the benchmarks of the device compared to other Android smartphones.
