Idea Ultra with 5-inch display, quad-core processor launched for Rs. 10500

Idea Cellular has launched the Idea Ultra, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. It has a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Idea phones. Idea Ultra launch

At the Ultra launch, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said,

The Idea Ultra is the 12th smartphone from Idea and the company has sold over 6 lakh devices in 3.5-inch, 4-inch and 4.5-inch categories in the Indian market.

The phone would be available fom its own retail and service outlets across major 3G markets in Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Gujarat, UP West & East, and Haryana.
