Vodafone offers free access to Twitter for Android and Mobile Web for 3 months
Vodafone India has partnered with Twitter India to offer access to Twitter for Android app and mobile.twitter.com free of any mobile charges for three months without any data pack. Twitter will promote the ‘no mobile internet charges’ experience on Vodafone by clearly prompting and informing the customer on the applicable charges, especially when they are accessing links via their Twitter timeline and elsewhere on Twitter’s network. Micromax Bling 3 A86 now available for Rs. 9599
Micromax Bing 3 A86 that surfaced last week is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. The Bling 3 is the 3rd phone in the Bling series Bling phone that was launched back in 2010 and Bling 2 A55 that was launched in 2011. The Bling 3 has Swarovski Zirconia crystals similar to the other Bling phones. It has 4-inch touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). MediaTek MT8135 quad-core chip with ARM big.LITTLE and PowerVR Series6 GPU announced
MediaTek has announced MT8135 quad-core chip based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture and PowerVR Series 6 GPU. Samsung announced the Exynos 5410 Octa-core chip at CES 2013 earlier this year that uses 4 ARM Cortex A15 chips and four Cortex A7 chips. Samsung even released an upgraded octa-core chip Exynos 5420 with ARM Mail T628 GPU last week. The MediaTek MT8135 uses two high-performance Cortex A15 clocked at 1.7 GHz and two ultra-efficient Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It also has the latest PowerVR Series 6 G6200 GPU. Saavn Pro for Android officially launched, offers ad-free offline listening
Saavan, global music service announced their premium music service, Saavn Pro with offline and ad-free music listening back in February. The iPhone and iPad app got updated with Saavn Pro and new UI back in March, the Android app got updated earlier this month with Saavn Pro and New UI. This brings ad-free listening, offline downloads, improved audio quality and lots more. Unlike many other subscription services, users can opt-in to Saavn Pro directly on their mobiles. Karbonn A1 Star and the A5 Star, new budget Dual SIM Android smartphones are now available through online retailers Saholic and Flipkart. These are the successors of the Karbonn A1 and the Karbonn A5. The Karbonn A1 was launched back in 2011 and the A5 was launched last year. The A1 Star and the A5 Star have 3.5 inch and 3.2-inch display at HVGA resolution. Both these phones are powered by a 1 GHz processor. The A1 Star runs on Android 4.0 ICS, while the A5 Star runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Both these have Dual SIM support, rear and front-facing cameras. Apple iPhone 5C packaging spotted , is this the cheap iPhone ? May be in multiple colours !
In a fresh leak regarding the rumored cheaper iPhone , a chinese site WeiPhone has got hold of what looks like a tub full of iPhone 5C boxes. Would the cheaper iPhone be known as the iPhone 5 C? One high possibility is Apple brings Colour to the iPhone doing away with just black and while like it did with the iPod recently.This can be fake but would take weeks or even month to fake it so this could very well be the real deal considering we are closing in on the September/October time frame for the new iPhone unveiling. The packaging seems similar to the one used in newest iPod touches and considering this a cheaper iPhone , it would be fair to bet that Apple wants to spend as little as possible on the box.

MediaTek reveals True Octa-Core chip solution
MediaTek, the company responsible for the countless number of Quad Core devices in the mid range Indian market, has today revealed its “True” Octa-Core solution by taking a slight jab at Samsung’s big.LITTLE based Exynos Octa 5. It has been rumoured for some time that MediaTek is going forward with its plans for a Octa Core solution of its own, but the news has finally reached “not a rumour anymore” status with the company proudly announcing this on its site. This “True” Octa Core solution, as MediaTek claims, utilizes the full potential of all the eight cores for a seemingly better performance and even better battery life management.

Xolo had launched phones in the X series powered by Intel Atom processors starting from X900, A series devices are powered by single-core and dual-core MediaTek processors and the devices in the Q CORE series have quad-core MediaTek chips.The T Series is for Tegra-powered devices. Xolo launched the Play T1000, the company first phone powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor earlier this month for Rs. 15,999. The phone has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with 416 MHz 12 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU and runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).

Hipstamatic Oggl and Oggl Pro bring Instagram sharing to Windows Phone
As reported earlier, Hipstamatic went on stage with Nokia at the Lumia 925 launch event and announced that they are bringing their currently iPhone exclusive Hipstamatic Oggl app to Windows Phone 8 devices from Nokia. Popular for its filters and the funky UI, the app remains the only official solution to post directly to instagram. But Hipstamatic does have its own community too and that’s called Oggl. The free Oggl app includes five pre-set lenses and films, and the ability to edit and share photos to Oggl, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The app is now available on the Windows Phone Store and you can get it here.
