He will be Advisor to MDG and Ajey in the transition till October 2014, said the company. Yesterday Xiaomi sold 15,000 units of Mi3 smartphones in just two seconds. They received about 1,50,000 registrations for yesterday’s sale. Today the company has announced that it would sell 20,000 units of the Mi3 smartphone on 12th August, which is their fourth batch of sale in India. Last week the company said that it sold 20,000 units of Mi3s in first two sales, so totally the company has sold 35,000 units so far, including the third sale.
