Oppo unveiled the N1 mini, a smaller variant of the Oppo N1 with a 13-megapixel rotating camera back in June. Today, OPPO Mobile India started teasing the India launch of the smartphone on its social platforms. It says “Revolutionary 24 Mega Pixels Ultra HD Camera, Coming Soon!” with caption Mini in size Max on fun. The 13-megapixel camera on the Oppo N1 mini has Sony IMX214 stacked sensor, 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It is also capable of capturing 24 megapixel photos. Micromax is the leading mobile phone vendor in India based on shipments, according to a report from CounterPoint Research. Last week’s Canalys report revealed that Motorola overtook Nokia to become the fourth largest smartphone vendor in India in Q2 2014. According to the CounterPoint Research report, Indian mobile phone market grew 2% annually and smartphone segment grew 68% annually.
