Lenovo has launched S850, a new smartphone is the S Series in India. It was unveiled at MWC earlier this year and packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera. It also comes with dual SIM support and comes pre-loaded with Lenovo Premium DOit Apps (SHAREit, SYNCit and SECUREit) apps.

Disney India and Salman Khan launch Kick mobile game

Disney India along with Salman Khan have launched a mobile game as a promotional measure for its upcoming movie ‘Kick’. Available on Android the game includes a player that takes on the role of ‘Devil’ Salman Khan’s movie character. The iOS, Windows Phone and feature phone version of the game is also in the making and will release along with the movie.

At the Mi 4 launch, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Band, the company’s first fitness band as expected. This just has three LED notification lights and connects to your Android smartphones running Android via Bluetooth 4.0 low energy (BLE). It has a set of sensors that monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep. The data can be share to social networks easily with the companion app that would also offer you health advice. Xiaomi launched the Mi3 smartphone in India for Rs. 13,999 last week. It went on sale for priority customers and Flipkart first customers yesterday. Today it went on sale for everyone those who have registered till yesterday, 21st July. Xiaomi India already announced that only limited stocks would be available and over 100,000 people have registered for today’s sale. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might feature flexible display, 16MP camera with OIS and metal build

Last week there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might come with a retina scanner. Now, a new report from Korean publication ET News is stating that the Galaxy Note 4 will sport a flexible display and have a metal build. It also states that the phone will boast of a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

Xiaomi has just announced the most expected Mi 4, successor of the Mi 3 that was unveiled last year. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 441 PPI, based one-glass solution (OGS) made by Sharp / JDI, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on MIUI on top of Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony BSI sensor, and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera win Sony sensor. It has a stainless steel frame, 67.5mm-wide body and weighs just 149 grams. Apple reportedly ordered suppliers to produce 80 million iPhones 6 units

Apple has asked it suppliers to manufacture between 70 million and 80 million of  iPhones by the end of the year, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal. This company is expected to launch two iPhones this year in 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch screen and the above figure will be a combination of these two variants.
