Xolo is on a roll. The company launched several new smartphones, including their first Windows Phone 8.1 handset last month. Today the company has announced the Xolo Play 6X-1000, its first smartphone powered by a MediaTek MT6591 Hexa-Core processor, 2GB RAM and Xolo Q500s IPS, the company’s cheapest quad-core smartphone till date. The Play 6X-1000 has a 5-inch HD screen, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Truecaller app launched for Android Wear
Truecaller, popular caller ID application has been launched for Android Wear. Google Play Store got a dedicated Android Wear section and Android Wear app earlier this week. Truecaller says it is one of the 24 developers to bring an app to the Android Wear platform. This app lets you identify the the contact information of the caller on the Android Wear smartwatch. Amazon’s New Kindle Paperwhite available in India for Rs. 8999 for a limited period
Amazon launched its New Kindle Paperwhite earlier this year priced at Rs. 10,999. It is now available for Rs. 8,999 on Amazon in India for a limited period. The 2nd generation Paperwhite was announced back in September 2013 and has a the same 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 212 PPI pixel density with built-in light. It has a new display technology with higher contrast, the next generation built-in light, 25% faster processor and new touch technology with 19% tighter touch grid so that it respond even more accurately to the smallest touches. Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact screenshots, specifications surface
Sony unveiled the Xperia Z1 Compact and the Xperia Z2 earlier this year. Now alleged screenshots from the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact has surfaced online. The Xperia Z3 screenshot shows the model number D6653 and the model number of the Z3 Compact is D58XX (D5833 likely). Samsung Gear Live now available in India on Google Play for Rs. 15900
Samsung Gear Live that was announced last week at the Google I/O got priced on the Google Play Store at Rs. 15,900, immediately after the announcement. Now the smartwatch is available for purchase on the Google Play Store in India at the same price. The Gear Live Smartwatch runs on Android Wear, has a 1.63 inch (320 x 320 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and packs a 300 mAh battery that promises one day battery life.
