Samsung has developed Look at Me, a training program that helps children with autism make eye contact. Samsung has partnered with Autism Speaks Canada to 200 Galaxy Tab S devices pre-loaded with the Look at Me app. This will be given to 200 families with children with autism. Samsung is all set to launch the Samsung Z1, the company’s budget Tizen OS smartphone in India on January 18th 2015, according to a report from Korea Economic Daily. Earlier reports in September and November said that the Tizen powered smartphone will hit Indian markets by November or December. Looks like the launch will finally happen in January. Samsung has also started their partners meet for the Samsung Z1 in India. Since January 18th lies on Sunday, the date might be wrong. In less than three weeks after releasing Android 5.0.1 update for its devices, Google has released factory images for Android 5.0.2 and also pushed the same to AOSP for the Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi. Videocon has launched Infinium Z50 Nova, the company’s latest smartphone in the Infinium series. It has a 5-inch qHD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the Infinium Z50 Quad that was launched last month. The 16GB variant that was launched back in September for Rs. 31,999 has received a price cut and is available for Rs. 29,999. The wood and leather back variants are now available for Rs. 31,999. The Moto X (2nd Gen) has a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU, similar to the Galaxy Mega 2. Vodafone has announced that it has started offering free Wi-Fi connectivity in Delhi’s Khan Market area for both Vodafone and Non-Vodafone subscribers. This covers most frequented hotspots like ROUTE 04, SOY, Choko La, Big Chill, Pure Punjab, Chonas, Town Hall and Khan Chacha. Last year Airtel partnered with Google to launch Free Zone to access some Google Apps for free. I experienced a similar free WiFi service at Hyderabad Airport powered by Tata Docomo.
