ARM has signed a long-term deal with Samsung that is aimed at providing next-level visual experiences to customers. The deal includes ARM’s GPUs namely Mali T820, 830, 860 and the recently announced T880 as well as all future Mali GPUs.

Skype rolls out “Click to Call” for mobile beta on Android

Skype has rolled out its “Click to Call’ feature that allows users to make a call from their desktop client. The Skype desktop plugin will let you “send phone numbers from your computer browser straight to Skype on your mobile, so you can immediately call from your phone or save the number to call later”.

Global wearable market soars 200% YoY for Q1, 2015: Report

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, vendors shipped a total of 11.4 million wearables in 1Q15, a 200% increase from the 3.8 million wearables shipped in Q1, 2014. This is wearable market’s eighth consecutive quarter of steady growth in the first quarter of 2015 (1Q15).

Apple has announced for a global recall for its Beats Pill XL speakers sighting fire safety risk due to overheating of battery in the speaker in rare cases. This does not affects Beats Pill 2.0 or any other Beats or Apple products, says the company. It was introduced by Beats by Dre in November 2013. Apple acquired Beats for $3 billion in 2014. The Bluetooth speaker was sold through Apple Retail Stores and major retail stores, Apple.com and Beatsbydre.com from January 2014 through June 2015.
