Airtel launches pan-India 4G services in 296 towns

After running 4G trails in several cities for the past few months, Airtel today launched its 4G services in 296 towns across India. Airtel launched its 4G TDD-LTE services in Kolkata back in 2012 and recently expanded its roll out to several cities. Airtel also offers integrated 4G services in some circles like Delhi NCR that uses both 2300MHz TDD-LTE (band 40) and 1800MHz FDD-LTE (band 3). Lenovo announces open sale for K3 Note on Aug 10th and 11th after selling over 2.5 lakh units

Lenovo has announced that the K3 Note smartphone will be available without registrations through open sale on August 10 and 11th exclusively from Flipkart. The company launched the K3 Note smartphone on June 25th. It sold 47,440 units in the first flash sale on July 8th, 49,800 units (30,000 units in black and 19,800 units in white) in the second flash sale, 45,000 units (27,000 units in black and 18,000 units in white) in the third flash sale and 62,000 units in the fourth flash sale yesterday.
