LG Electronics has reported revenues of 13.99 trillion won (US$ 12.72 billion) in Q1 2015, an increase of just 0.04% compared to the same quarter last year with operating profit of 305.2 billion won (US$ 277.45 million), down 36.2 percent from the same period the previous year. Net profit was 38.4 billion won (US$35.9 million) during the quarter, down from 92.5 billion won a year earlier. Google has updated Google Play Services to version 7.3 that brings support for multiple Android Wear devices and other improvements. The update also adds changes that are developer specific.
Twitter announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. The micro blogging site reported that the revenue was $436 million in Q1, an increase of 74 percent on a year-over-year basis however, well below estimates of $456 million.
