Xolo Q900T that was announced last week is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi with 178-degree wide viewing angle and a 2.5 D Edge-to-edge curved glass on the front, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to most of the Xolo phones. Live image of White colored Moto E (XT1022) showed up few hours back, now the press shots of the phone has surfaced on a brazilian retail site. The image shows the Moto E (XT1025) in black that has built-in digital TV as rumored earlier. Posing next to the Moto G, the Moto E looks a bit smaller, but has larger bezels compared to Moto G. It also has a speaker grill on the bottom and a Motorola logo on the top. Oracle wins copyright appeal against Google, new trial to follow

Remember when Google won the lawsuit against Oracle for Android’s copyright infringement on Java? That ruling, which was from a Districts court in San Francisco, has been overruled by a Federal Appeals court, which has practically rubbished the former’s decision. The new ruling states that Oracle’s Java APIs, the ones it acquired as a part of its Sun Microsystems acquisition, do fall under copyright and hence, a new trial on fair use and damages will follow. This is a big blow to Google, purveyor of the omnipresent Android operating system, as it would need to face a fresh set of trials, again. Oracle, on the other hand, will see this as an opportunity to get back at the Mountain View company.

HTC-built Nexus device codenamed Flounder confirmed in AOSP Changelog

Recently a Google devices codenamed Flounder appeared on Chrome Issue tracker. Now the codename has appeared on Android 4.4.3 (KitKat MR2) Changelog. Google usually uses fish-themed codenames for their Nexus devices such as Hammerhead, Tilapia, Manta etc. So it is clear that this would be the next Nexus device. Ari Partinen, Nokia’s Camera Expert moves to Apple

Not one to leave much to doubt, he also confirmed that his next destination will be Cupertino, California. Galaxy S3 and S3 Mini will not get KitKat update: Samsung

Yesterday there was a report about a list of Samsung Galaxy devices that will get latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 update by next month. The list suggested that the Non-LTE variant of the S3 will not receive the Android KiKat update. Now SamMobile has received an official confirmation from Samsung that the device will indeed not get the update due to hardware limitations.
