Qualcomm Technologies just announced Snapdragon Smart Protect, anti-malware technology that will be supported by upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Smart Protect will provide real-time, on-device detection of unknown (zero-day) malware threats. It uses advanced machine learning-based behavioral analysis to look at actual behavior of device applications in real time and almost instantly detect and classify any application behavior that is considered suspicious or anomalous, said the company.
Sony is using its First Flight crowdfunding platform for an upcoming ‘Wena Wrist’ smartwatch in Japan. The smartwatch looks like a traditional watch with round dial, analog hands and comes in silver or black metallic finish.

Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace (J110H), the latest budget smartphone from the company that was surfaced earlier today is now on sale in India from offline retailers. It has a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) Super AMOLED display that you rarely get in budget smartphones, but it has 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which might not attract the buyers. It packs a 6.8-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is just 7.6mm thick and has uni-body metal build. Since it is a phablet, it comes with software features for comfortable one-handed usage.

Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy J1 ACE (J110H), its new budget smartphone in India soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The smartphone already surfaced on User Agent Profile that revealed a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, quad-core Marvell PXA1908 SoC and 4G LTE support.
