Apple has officially announced its March 21st event, after recent rumors. According to earlier reports, the company is expected to introduce a new iPhone SE smartphone and a 9.7-inch iPad Pro at the event..
The upcoming iPhone is expected to be similar to the iPhone 5s in appearance with slightly curved edges, but it will come with an an A9 chip, support Apple Pay and Live Photos, feature a 12-megapixel camera and a slightly larger 1,642 mAh battery compared to the iPhone 5s. The 4-inch iPhone is expected to be priced between $400 to $500.
Apple is also expected to introduce a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard accessories and new Watch band options like new colors for the rubber Sports band, Hermes bands and a black Milanese Loop band. Apple will likely debut the iOS 9.3, OS X 10.11.4, watchOS 2.2, and tvOS 9.2 at the event and might also reveal the roll out details for the final versions.
The event kicks off at 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) or 10:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on March 21st, Monday in Cupertino at Apple’s 1 Infinite Loop campus. Apple will also offer live stream for the event. In addition to iOS, Mac and Apple TV users, Windows 10 users can also watch it using Microsoft Edge browser.
