ACT Fibernet slashes tariffs in Hyderabad, 100Mbps plan now at Rs. 1999

ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), popular for its Fiber Optic broadband has reduced their tariffs for their ACT Fibernet customers in Hyderabad. The 100Mbps plan now costs Rs. 1,999, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 2,799 and there is a new 60Mbps plan for Rs. 1,299. It has also doubled the speed for customers using 5Mbps and 20Mbps plans to 10Mbps and 40Mbps, respectively without extra cost. Even speed post the FUP limit have been increased in these plans. YU has officially launched YUNIQUE, the company’s latest budget smartphone, after the registration page went live early. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi, is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on stock Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It doesn’t run on Cyanogen OS out of the box like other YU smartphones, but you can upgrade to Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) by heading to YU service centres for free, flashable ROM will be available in future. It features a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi Redmi 2A variant with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage launched in China

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 2A smartphone back in March, today the company launched a 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant of the smartphone in China.  Other specifications of the smartphone are similar, including 4.7-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz quad-core Leadcore L1860C processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity. It runs on MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box and will get the stable MIUI 7 update in future. Motorola India just sent press invites for the launch of Moto X Play in India on September 14th, after both Motorola and Flipkart teased the India launch of the smartphone recently. The Moto X Play was announced back in July and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, is powered by a Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 3630mAh battery that promises up to 48 hours of battery life with mixed use.

Asus started taking pre-orders for the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 on Flipkart in India from August 19th, which was supposed to go on sale from mid-September. Today the company has announced that it has advanced the sales of the smartphone on Flipkart, which is now available for purchase starting from today. Asus recently announced that it received 30,000 pre-orders for its new Zenfone lineup, soon after the pre-order, and the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 received 10,000 pre-orders on the third day of the pre-order.
