Truecaller has updated its iPhone app which adds Caller ID functionality. The feature which is already present on Android was not available for iPhone users until now due to limitations on iOS.

At an event in New-Delhi, Samsung introduced new devices to the very popular Samsung J series. Of these, the smaller one is the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016). The device combines the high end design that takes cues from the A series with performance that is well, more befitting the price point. We spent some time with the devices and here’s what we thought.
Qihoo 360 (QiKU) has introduced N4, the company’s latest smartphone at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X20 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with 360 OS. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF for quick focus in 0.1 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. India shipped a total of 52.6 million handsets in Q1 CY 2016, against 55.4 million in 1Q CY 2015, registering a decline of 4% YoY, according to CMR’s India Mobile Handset Report. The QoQ decline was 12.8%.

HTC has announced financial results for Q1 2016. The Taiwanese smartphone maker has recorded $454 million (NT$14.8 billion) in revenue, down 64% as it was $1.3 billion (NT$41.52 billion) in Q1 2015.

Google has launched RailWire free WiFi service across five more railway stations in India. The service under which Indian Railways, RailTel and Google provide free WiFi to passengers has now expanded to Ujjain, Jaipur, Patna, Guwahati and Allahabad railway stations.

It has a 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 or Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 SoCs, runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with One-handed mode and shortcut dock to launch apps easily. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone was introduced back in August last year, packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC, packs 3GB of RAM, runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Andriod 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
