Infocus is all set to launch the M260, the company’s new budget smartphone on Snapdeal later this week. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Inlife UI 2.0 on top. LG launched the G Vista for Verizon last year and now the company is bringing the successor of the phone. The company has announced that G Vista 2 will be coming to AT&T.
Letv today introduced uMax120, the company’s first 120-inch 3D 4K TV at its event in China, along with the Le 1s smartphone. The display panel has 680nit ~ 800nit screen brightness, has 120Hz refresh rate and supports H.265 hardware decoding. It runs on EUI TV UI based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Letv, one of the popular video network operators in China today introduced Le 1s, successor of the Le 1 smartphone that was introduced earlier this year. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with slim bezel. It is just 74.2mm wide, slimmer than last year’s Le 1Pro. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC and runs on Android Lollipop based on EUI 5.5. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that can focus an object in just 0.09 seconds. DataWind the maker of the budget Aakash tablets has joined hands with Reliance Communications to launch a smartphone that will be priced as low as Rs 999 and will be available by the end of 2015, according to a latest report from the Economic Times.
BlackBerry Priv, the company’s first Android slider running stock Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) went on pre-order in the U.S., Canada and UK last week. BlackBerry already said that it will ship the smartphone in these countries starting from November 6th. Now the company has released stock apps for the Priv smartphone on Google Play ahead of the launch. Xiaomi has released MIUI 7 global stable version for some of its smartphones, as it promised last week. It introduced MIUI 7 back in August at the Redmi Note 2 launch event back in August. Mobile gaming as a category has already surpassed portable consoles by far. We’ve reached a point where the smartphone gaming market is competing head-on with dedicated consoles.
