Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus Android 7.0 Nougat update starts rolling out in India
After several soak tests since October, Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India officially. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor (for Moto G4 Plus). Motorola had announced a list of all the devices that will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update by the end of this year. Now, some Moto G4 and G4 Plus owners have started receiving Nougat update in India.

Moto G4 with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 12499
Moto G4 was introduced along with the Moto G4 Plus last month in India. Today it has been officially launched in the country. The Moto G4 has similar specifications as the G4 Plus that includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 617, dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity, but it lacks a fingerprint sensor and comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera without laser autofocus.

Moto G4 to go on sale on Amazon in India from June 23
Moto G4 was introduced along with the Moto G4 Plus last month in India. The Moto G4 Plus went on sale on the same day exclusively on Amazon.in starting at a price of Rs. 13,499. Moto G4 and G4 Plus with 5.5-inch 1080p display launched, G4 Plus starts at Rs. 13499
Motorola just launched the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India. Both the phones have a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, are powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 SoC, run Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto G4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Laser auto-focus and software features such as professional mode. Motorola Moto G (4th Gen) surfaced in hands-on video last month, now the live image for the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. Motorola recently scheduled an event in India on May 17th, where it is expected to unveil the new Moto G (4th Gen) and the Moto G / G4 Plus smartphones. Few hours back Motorola India has tweeted to Amazon India – “We have been #MissingOut on a lot lately, isn’t it?” It also said it will be Amazon exclusive and will be revealed on May 17th. Motorola just sent out invites for an event in New Delhi on May 17th. The invite doesn’t reveal any details what it is expected to launch, but it will likely launch the new Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones at the event.
