Evernote to pull the plug on Skitch for Android, iOS and Windows

Evernote today announced that it will pull the plug on its standalone apps such as Skitch for Windows, Windows Touch, iOS, Android, Evernote Clearly and Evernote for Pebble starting today. However the Skitch for Mac app will continue to be available and supported. It acquired Skitch, a popular image annotation application back in 2011 and launched the app for Android, later it was launched for iPad and iPhone. Samsung and LG may not go for 4K displays in 2016

Samsung and LG will not join the race to put 4K displays on the their phones, as per new reports from South Korea. The report citing trusted sources said that both the companies might opt to skip 4K or Ultra HD for their smartphones in 2016.

Qualcomm is renaming Snapdragon 620 and 618 to Snapdragon 652 and 650

Qualcomm has announced that it is renaming Snapdragon 620 and 618 to the Snapdragon 652 and 650, respectively. Both these were introduced earlier this year and have LTE support, including Global Mode RF360 support. Reason for the change in name is to better reflect the positioning and capabilities of these two processors since the Snapdragon 620 and 618 have significant user experience and performance advantages compared to other 600 tier processors 615, 616 and 617.
